I initially trained as a teacher of Drama and Movement, but pursued a professional career in mime, dance and theatre. Apart from my performing career, I have experienced diverse ways of employment including milkman, graphic designer, warehouseman, drayman, restaurant manager, painter and decorator, and office worker, and teacher. During training for my Masters in dramatherapy, I gained experience of working with blind and partially sighted young adults, people with learning disabilities and mental health problems, offenders, primary school children, the elderly, and students from The Royal School for the Deaf. For my final dissertation, I specialized in working with recent first-time fathers to help them realize their new role.
