Time: 10 am
- 5 pm
Venue: Cockingtn Court, Torquay,
We now have a programme for our summer CPD day that is taking place on Saturday 15th July at Cockington Court in Torquay.
The morning will be a full experiential outdoor Environmental Arts Therapy (EAT) workshop facilitated by three members of Dramatherapy Southwest (Susie Thompson, Lia Ponton & Will Berisch-Secretan). This workshop will explore a dragon legend from the Polish city of Krakow.
The afternoon will be a full workshop facilitated by Martin Redfern exploring IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy and how an understanding of this model can be mapped to and enhance the practice of dramatherapy. We will be sending out full details of both workshops very soon.
Lunch will be an unrushed 'bring-and-share' meal with opportunities to connect and relax. Arrivals and refreshments will be from 9.45 am with a formal start at 10.15 am. The plenary will end by 5 pm and there will be opportunities to relax and socialize after that.
The number of places will be limited. If you are able to book before 7th July we can secure you a car parking permit at no extra cost. There are also Torquay railway stations within walking distance of the venue.
The full day will be offered at £25 to members (£20 to student members and to members at state retirement age).
Non members will be charged £60 for the full day (£45 for students/state retirement age). This higher payment will also entitle those who are eligible to become members of Dramatherapy Southwest for the remainder of the year (until and including the January AGM and CPD day in Bristol).
