Date: Saturday 8 April 2017
Venue: St Matthew's Hall Exeter, Exeter
The workshop will prepare attendees to use Turner’s Model of Crisis within a dramatherapy context. The focus will be on working with those who have experienced trauma, particularly the refugee community.
Linda Winn has been developing and testing the use of this model for two decades.
The workshop is an introduction containing experiential and theoretic elements.
There will be an expectation that participants have some experience of working with trauma and crisis.
If not, then you would need to gain knowledge of this before embarking on work with vulnerable populations.
Linda Winn has extensive experience as a Dramatherapist, Nurse, EMDR Practitioner & Psychotherapy Supervisor. She has worked with people suffering from trauma and their carers for over 35 years. She has recently completed her PhD The Drama of War, the Theatre of Life at Anglia Ruskin University.
